About Parkview Dental Centre, Ipswich

Malgorzata, known to her patients as Mal, studied dentistry at the Medical University of Lublin, Poland and qualified in 2001. In 2005 she moved to the UK. Mal has been caring for patients in Suffolk for many years and is known for her kind and gentle approach with her patients.

Following qualification, firstly as a biomedical scientist and then as a dentist, Alexander chose to spend his postgraduate year working in Suffolk. Alexander has an interest in patients with dental anxiety and is currently working toward his Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at The Royal College of Surgeons England.

Clare qualified from Cardiff Dental School in 1997 and developed a passion for oral surgery whilst working at Addenbrooke’s and Kettering and Northampton NHS Trusts. She attained a permanent position as a speciality doctor at Ipswich Hospital in 2004.

Laura qualified as a Dental Hygienist in 2024 at the University of Essex and joined Parkview in February 2025. Laura previously worked as a dental nurse before going into hygiene. In Laura’s spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading and going on holidays.

John is our specialist orthodontist joining us to provide a whole range of orthodontic treatment. He qualified from the University of Dundee in 2012 and then worked for several years in Edinburgh and Glasgow, gaining valuable experience across the dental specialities and in oral and maxillofacial surgery. Following this, he embarked upon his specialist training in orthodontics based between The Royal London Hospital and Ipswich Hospital. During this time, he was awarded the Membership in Orthodontics from the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and completed a Doctorate in Clinical Dentistry at Queen Mary University London, for which he was awarded the Jim Moss prize for his independent research on smile aesthetics.

Lesley qualified as a Dental Hygienist in 2010 at the University of Essex, before acquiring a Post Graduate Certificate in Dental Education and working part-time as a Clinical Educator supervising the work-based learning for hygiene students at the University of Essex. Lesley is dedicated to delivering optimal care and takes pride in helping patients maintain a healthy mouth. Outside of dentistry if she is not on the tennis-court, Lesley enjoys long walks, spending quality time with family and friends, or is relaxing whilst reading a good book.

Ellie graduated from Teesside University in 2026 as a Dental Hygienist. She began working in a dental practice at 18 as a Dental Nurse, where her passion for dentistry grew and inspired her to pursue a career in Dental Hygiene.

Ellie takes a gentle and friendly approach to patient care, helping patients feel comfortable and at ease throughout their appointments.

Dr Jonathon Woods graduated from Cardiff and has gained extensive experience in private practices across Somerset, Suffolk and Essex, before joining Parkview.

His clinical interests include biomimetic dentistry, dental implants and facial aesthetics, with a particular emphasis on the preservation of natural teeth and the provision of highly aesthetic, long-lasting solutions for patients with missing teeth.
